Company Story
Built on a Clear Proposition
Viscera Energy Operations and Maintenance Limited was founded in 2012 on a straightforward proposition — the most credible partner to operate and maintain energy equipment is the partner authorised to supply it. The business was established with an OEM-led approach from the outset: building direct factory relationships rather than secondary distribution channels, and combining supply authority with the engineering depth to commission, operate, and maintain what was supplied.
The company is founded and led by Modupe Famurewa, a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers with over 20 years of energy infrastructure experience across Sub-Saharan Africa. That technical foundation underpins every commercial relationship and every scope of work the company undertakes.
Operations span upstream oil and gas, midstream, power generation, water infrastructure and industrial process facilities. Active markets include Nigeria, Ghana, Angola, Cameroon, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea and Kuwait. The company holds direct OEM agreements with thirty manufacturers across twelve countries — enabling certified equipment supply, engineering integration, and operations support across the full infrastructure lifecycle.
Viscera Energy is an approved NUPRC service provider, registered on SAP Ariba, and holds a D&B DUNS number — enabling participation in international procurement frameworks and global vendor qualification processes.
