Operations, Maintenance and Integrity

OEM-anchored maintenance under direct technical authority — factory training, spare parts access, and the documentation that makes every intervention defensible.

Maintenance Needs the OEM Agreement Behind It

When a valve fails at a metering station, the operator needs to know that the maintenance contractor can identify the correct replacement seat, order the factory-approved spare, and complete the repair to the original OEM specification. That capability starts with the OEM agreement — not with the maintenance contract.

Viscera's operations and maintenance capability is grounded in exactly that logic. Because we hold direct OEM agreements with thirty manufacturers across twelve countries, our maintenance work is backed by factory training, factory-approved spare parts, and the original technical documentation from the manufacturer. This is the difference between maintenance that is defensible and maintenance that is not.

This is anchored by the founder's two decades of operator-side experience across Sub-Saharan Africa — experience that was built in the field, understanding what defensible maintenance actually requires in the context of NUPRC regulation, IOC contractor qualification, and EPC handover standards.

Honest Statement

Our operations and maintenance capability is grounded in OEM technical authority and is actively expanding. We do not pad this section with proposals presented as delivered work.

OEM Foundation

Factory training certificates, original spare parts access, and the technical documentation that makes every maintenance intervention traceable to the manufacturer.

Capability Areas

O&M Service Lines

Detailed below are the specific service lines that constitute our O&M capability — each grounded in OEM technical authority.

01

Valve Inspection and Repair

OEM-Certified

Valve inspection, maintenance and repair performed under OEM-certified technical authority. Because Viscera holds direct OEM agreements with valve manufacturers — including BVT, FEVISA, HERZ, HAWLE, AVK and others — our maintenance work on these valves is backed by factory training, original spare parts, and OEM-approved repair procedures.

  • On-site valve inspection and condition assessment — API 6D and manufacturer procedures
  • Seat and seal replacement using OEM-supplied spares
  • Actuator testing, calibration and repair — pneumatic and motorised
  • Valve refurbishment and re-testing to original factory test standards
  • Valve register maintenance and inspection history documentation
  • Emergency valve repair support with OEM technical backup
02

Rotating Equipment O&M

Compressors · Pumps · Generators

Operations and maintenance for compressors, pumps and generating sets under OEM technical authority. For Burckhardt compressors, AKSA generators and Flowserve pump equipment, maintenance is backed by manufacturer technical documentation and approved spare parts channels.

  • Planned preventive maintenance — OEM schedule and interval compliance
  • Condition monitoring — vibration analysis, oil sampling, performance trending
  • Overhaul and major inspection planning and execution
  • Spare parts management — OEM-sourced, correctly catalogued
  • Performance testing and efficiency monitoring
  • Failure analysis and root cause investigation with OEM technical support
03

Pipeline Integrity Management

API 570 · ASME B31.4

Pipeline integrity management to API 570 (in-service piping inspection) and ASME B31.4 (liquid pipeline systems). The pipeline is an asset — its integrity management program determines its operating life and regulatory standing.

  • Baseline integrity assessment and risk profiling
  • Inspection planning to API 570 inspection intervals and circuits
  • Corrosion monitoring and thickness measurement programs
  • Cathodic protection monitoring and remediation
  • In-line inspection coordination and data interpretation
  • Digital pipeline integrity solutions and data management
  • Fitness-for-service assessment and remaining life calculation
  • Integrity management plan development and updates
04

Static Equipment Inspection

API 510 · API 653

Static equipment inspection to API 510 (pressure vessels) and API 653 (above-ground storage tanks). Statutory inspection requirements must be met for continued operation — and the documentation must be complete for regulatory review.

  • Pressure vessel inspection planning and execution to API 510
  • Above-ground storage tank inspection and assessment to API 653
  • Internal and external inspection — visual, ultrasonic, radiographic
  • Pressure relief valve testing, inspection and certification
  • Corrosion assessment and minimum remaining wall thickness calculation
  • Statutory inspection record preparation and regulatory submission support
05

HVAC Commissioning and Maintenance

OEM-Supported

HVAC commissioning and maintenance programs delivered in reference to OEM technical specifications — particularly for HERZ and HAWLE balancing valve systems, where Viscera holds direct distribution agreements and maintains the technical documentation library.

  • HVAC system commissioning — testing, adjusting and balancing
  • Hydronic balancing valve commissioning using OEM data
  • Chiller and AHU planned maintenance programs
  • Fan coil unit servicing and filter replacement programs
  • Building management system troubleshooting and optimisation
