Engineering and Integration

Process design basis, P&IDs, and CTMS/PRMS packages delivered with global engineering partners holding the original design basis — aligned to OEM technical specifications from the outset.

The Engineering Must Know the Equipment

A pipeline system designed without reference to the actual valves, meters and compressors that will be installed in it is an engineering system waiting for a commissioning problem. The design basis must be written to the equipment, not retrofitted around it after procurement.

Viscera Engineering and Integration closes that gap. Because we hold direct OEM agreements with the manufacturers whose equipment goes into these projects, our engineering services are developed in reference to the actual factory specifications — not generic catalogue data. The process design basis reflects the operating envelope of the equipment. The P&IDs reflect the connection standards and instrument interfaces of the systems being installed.

This matters most at two project stages: during FEED, when the design basis is being locked and any errors compound across the project; and during pre-commissioning, when misalignment between design assumptions and actual equipment characteristics becomes visible and expensive. OEM-linked engineering reduces both risks.

Our engineering is delivered through direct OEM technical partnerships and qualified engineering service providers with proven track records in oil and gas, pipeline and process facility design across the African and Middle Eastern markets.

Engineering Delivered Through Established Partnerships

Viscera delivers engineering scope through partnerships with qualified engineering service providers — firms with established track records in oil and gas, pipeline, process and utility engineering in the West African, Central African and Middle Eastern markets.

These partnerships are active working relationships, not framework agreements. For each project, the engineering partner is selected based on their specific discipline track record, their familiarity with the applicable operator standards, and the availability of their competent resources for the project timeline.

The Viscera role in every engineering engagement is OEM-to-project interface: ensuring that the engineering reflects the equipment that will be installed, that vendor documentation is correctly interpreted and incorporated, and that the final deliverables are complete and defensible through every project gate.
